Group Rhodes to exhibit at MACH 2016

We are exhibiting at the MACH 2016 in Hall 4, Stand 4641.

Group Rhodes is set to exhibit at the MACH 2016 exhibition following its great success at the last show, when the Company picked-up orders for two new machines.

A Rhodes 200 Tonne double sided mechanical press with 5 tonne capacity coil loading equipment was purchased by a customer who manufacturers products for the building industry. Having purchased a similar Rhodes machine in 2006, the customer was confident Group Rhodes would supply a robust machine ensuring material stability and lifelong fame alignment.

The second customer purchased a Rhodes 200 tonne 4 pillar hydraulic press. Designed and manufactured to allow the customer the flexibility to produce deep drawn lighting components, which previously had to be produced on two separate machines.

The Rhodes MACH 2016 stand will showcase audio-visual and graphical illustrations of the acclaimed range of Rhodes Super Plastic Forming and Diffusion Bonding (SPF/DB) Presses. Recently winning the highly prestigious Queen’s Award for Enterprise, in the Innovation category, the Rhodes SPF/DB range of presses have helped to revolutionise the forming of metals in the Aerospace and Automotive industries. The latest presses have served to improve both the efficiency and output of the forming process, while at the same time dramatically reducing energy consumption and waste.

Also on display will be a comprehensive selection of machinery supplied by Atkin Automation (a member of Group Rhodes). In addition to individual machinery ranging from Press and Coil Feed Equipment through to Coil Holders and Straighteners, Atkin Automation is renowned for offering turnkey handling solutions.

Renowned for their ability to design and manufacture quality and bespoke CNC and PLC Metalforming Machinery, Group Rhodes is one of a very few companies capable of supplying both Mechanical and Hydraulic Presses. All major research and development work is conducted in-house and is supported by a well-equipped Computer Aided Design Department covering mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and software engineering disciplines. The 30,000 sqm Wakefield site also boasts excellent fabrication, machining and fitting departments ensuring that all aspects of machine build are controlled to Rhodes quality and safety standards which have achieved international (ISO9001 & ISO 14001) and European (CE) certification.
